The Ceremony

After doing a lot of thinking and a lot of searching, we decided to have our ceremony and reception at the University of Denver, in the Tuscan Ballroom at the School of Hotel, Restaurant, and Tourism Management (HRTM). It's a beautiful facility, and DU has meaning for both Mike and I - I'm an alumnus there, and Mike's dad teaches there. You can find more details about our wedding party on the Contact Us page.

Details:

The ceremony will be on May 16, 2009, and will begin at 5:30pm, and barring inclement weather, will be outside on the patio just to the South of the HRTM building. Please arrive 10 - 15 minutes early in order to allow time for parking and seating. We have included maps below to various visitor parking lots located near HRTM and showing how to find the ceremony location. The reception will immediately follow the ceremony, in the HRTM Ballroom. Please note that no outside food or drink is allowed in the HRTM facilities.

In addition to parking on campus, HRTM is just a few blocks from the University light rail station. If you're staying downtown or close to a light rail stop, this may be a viable option for you. The light rail station is just four long blocks north of HRTM on High Street.
